Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday chanted the slogan of strengthening small farmers from the Red Fort on the occasion of Independence Day. The Prime Minister spoke of making small farmers the pride of the country. Land in the villages is declining, he said. 80% of farmers have less than 2 hectares of land. The population is growing. Meaning they have become small farmers.

Farmers have not been given the attention they deserve. The government's goal is to provide affordable loans, credit cards, crop insurance, block level warehouse facilities, mandis, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to all. The collective power of small farmers has to be increased. Kisan Rail is running on more than 70 railways.

"We have to make a concerted effort to strengthen small farmers in the coming years," he said. We have to give them a new feature. They have to make the country proud in any case. Giving the slogan of upliftment of 80 per cent farmers, the Prime Minister said, "Small farmers become the pride of the country."

He further said that the people of the country have to work for the next generation of infrastructure, world class construction, cutting edge innovation, new age technology. Create whatever, create the best that can survive globally. Not only the name of the company but also the image of the country is associated with each product. Each product is a brand ambassador of the country.

Prime Minister Modi said that the country has resolved that in the 75 weeks of the Amrut Mahotsav of Independence, 75 Vandebharat trains will be connecting every corner of the country. At the pace at which new airports are being built in the country today, the flight plan connecting far-flung areas is also unprecedented.
