Ankit Gurjar, a gangster lodged in Tihar Jail, died in suspicious circumstances, investigation started

Gangster Ankit Gurjar, lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail, has died under suspicious circumstances. Ankit's body was found in Tihar Jail No. 3 and the jail authorities have since launched an investigation.

The body of gangster Ankit Gurjar has been taken to Delhi's Deendayal Hospital for postmortem. The cause and time of death will be known only after the postmortem report arrives.

Ankit's family members have alleged that he was killed. However, complete information has not been released by the current administration. Ankit was arrested by a special cell of Delhi Police and charged with murder under MCOCA.

Ankit Gurjar was the prize crook of Delhi and West UP region. A prize of about one and a half lakh rupees was placed on him. Ankit Gurjar had recently joined hands with another gangster Rohit Chaudhary and a Gurjar-Chaudhary gang was formed after that.

Together the two gangsters were dominating the areas of South Delhi. However, in the midst of all this, the Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested Ankit Gurjar and his body was found in Tihar on Wednesday.
