Weapons and explosives seized from Bandipora, search operation launched

Srinagar: Pakistani militants are all set to launch a major offensive in Jammu and Kashmir before August 15. Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh said the army was preparing to carry out the attack on Toiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.

The state DGP said both the army and police have been alerted in the state to stop the attacks. He also said that the police, the army and the intelligence agencies are in touch with each other. At the same time, the police have received reports that the Altawadis of Jammu and Kashmir are supplying oxygen to terrorist organizations.

According to the DGP, all separatists in Jammu and Kashmir who are supporting terrorists will not be released. Jamaat, Hurriyat and other separatist elements are becoming more active in Jammu and Kashmir. These separatist elements and organizations are equally responsible for the current state of terrorism.

As many as 61 members of the Jamaat were recently raided by the NIA in a case of aiding terrorists. The army, on the other hand, found a large quantity of arms and explosives during a search operation in Bandipora. Which was to be used for large attacks. The seized weapons include three AK rifles, 12 AK cartridges, 358 AK rounds, two pistols.
