25 injured in stampede and runaway at early vaccination center

Twenty-five people have been reported injured in a stampede and stampede in West Bengal's Dhupgudi district to administer the corona vaccine.

The injured have been admitted to hospital. At the vaccination center here, people rushed to get vaccinated and in a hurry to go ahead, Afra Tafari was finally horrified.

According to the details received, the door of the vaccination center was closed. There was a knock as soon as the door opened. It is also said that the quantity of vaccine is reaching insufficient in rural areas and due to which there is shortage of vaccine in rural areas.

The doors were closed at the vaccine center in Dhupgudi district due to the crowd of people.

Earlier, CM Mamata Banerjee had complained to the Center about the shortage of corona vaccine and alleged that the state was not getting enough vaccines. While other states are getting enough vaccines. Given the population of Bengal, the state needs 140 million doses. On the other hand, barely four lakh vaccines are being given daily. The state's vaccination capacity is 11 lakh pairs a day.

On the other hand, the BJP says that such a situation is being created due to lack of planning by the government.
