Vikas threatens UP police IG by creating Facebook account in Dubey's name, youth questioned

One year has passed since the Bikru scandal in Kanpur. One year after the incident, a social media account created in the name of Vikas Dubey threatened to kill IG Mohit Agarwal. Auraiya police has become active in this case.

IG Mohit Agarwal has received death threats through a Facebook account created under the name of Bikram scandal mastermind Vikas Dubey. The person being questioned by Auraiya police is Rahul Soni, a resident of Achalda area.

What is the whole case

A Facebook ID is being run in the name of Bikram scandal mastermind Vikas Dubey. A post made on this Facebook ID caused a stir in the police force. In this post, IG Mohit Agarwal has been threatened with death for using abusive language. Police have started investigation of the case by the surveillance team in addition to IT.

Police have picked up a youth named Rahul Soni from Achalda in Auraiya for questioning. It is learned that a Facebook account named Vikas Dubey has been created through his mail ID. Several photos of the weapons have been posted on this ID. Police are trying to get to the bottom of the case by questioning Rahul.

Eight police personnel, including DSP Devendra Mishra, who went to arrest gangster Vikas Dubey and his accomplices, were killed in Bikru village on the night of July 2-3 last year. Several dozen shots were fired at each police officer. Police and STF together killed 6 miscreants including Vikas Dubey in an encounter within 8 days. The other 45 accused in the case are currently lodged in jail.
