Three more Rafale planes flew from France to India, bringing the number of Rafalees in the country to 24

In the seventh batch of Raphael warplanes, three more planes flew from France and reached India after covering a distance of about eight thousand kilometers. These aircraft have been included in the 2nd Squadron of the Indian Air Force's Raphael aircraft. The planes from France were refueled by the UAE Air Force. The Indian Air Force tweeted that the three Rafale planes had recently arrived in India without stopping at Istress Air Base in France. The Indian Air Force thanks the UAE Air Force for helping in the air route.

After the shipment, India now has 24 Rafale aircraft. Raphael Jet's new squadron will be stationed at Hasimara Air Base in West Bengal. The first Raphael Squadron is located at Ambala Air Force Station. A squadron consists of 18 aircraft.

India signed an agreement with France in 2016 to buy 36 Rafale aircraft. The first batch of five Rafale aircraft arrived in India on July 29, 2020. About four years ago, it was decided to buy 36 Rafale aircraft from France for Rs 59,000 crore. The aircraft were officially inducted into the Indian Air Force at an event in Ambala on September 10 last year. The Raphael aircraft is considered a game changer for the Indian Air Force. Because their arrival has greatly increased India's strength. India has proved this by flying to Ladakh.
