KANDAHAR: Afghanistan has once again become a Taliban stronghold. Most areas of Afghanistan are currently under Taliban control. Now the Taliban's eye is on Kandahar.

Recently, news of violence in Kandahar city came to light. In which an Indian journalist was killed. Now the Taliban is trying to occupy Kandahar. However Afghan troops are trying to thwart this effort.

As Kandahar is the second largest city in Afghanistan, the Taliban want to send a big message by occupying it. Taliban fighters are deployed around Kandahar. The Afghan army has vacated several security posts. Which is now occupied by the Taliban.

This is the reason why the plight of the people living in Kandahar is increasing. People in rural Kandahar are fleeing to urban areas. People from urban areas are fleeing Kabul. Those who are getting a chance are also fleeing abroad.

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on Tuesday addressed the people on an issue linked to the Taliban. According to Guinea, there has been no sign of peace from the Taliban. He hoped that we would get out of this predicament soon.
