Summer in monsoon: 42 degrees in Gurgaon and 39 degrees in Delhi


Many states will not get rain till July 7

New Delhi: Many states, including Gujarat, are getting warmer this year instead of rains. The meteorological department has forecast no change in the current weather conditions till July 7. That is, it may rain after the seventh of July.

On the other hand, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar are getting very normal rains but in many states, the monsoon has started late this time. Monsoon has not started yet in states like Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab etc.

The meteorological department said the onset of monsoon was being delayed due to lack of weather system. The country will get good rains in July. However, the northern, central, eastern and northeastern states may receive below normal rainfall in July.

This means that there will be good rains in South India this month but less in North India. On Sunday alone, the temperature in Delhi reached 39.8 degrees. Gurgaon recorded 42 degrees, the highest in Haryana.
