Some Congress MLAs involved in Sidhu's 'show of strength' on Punjab CID's radar

In Punjab, the party is split after Navjot Singh Sidhu was made the state president of the Congress. It is learned that some of the Congress MLAs who accompanied Navjot Singh Sidhu to the temple on Wednesday are on the radar of Punjab CID. These legislators have been charged with some illegal activities such as illegal mining and illegal sale of liquor. There are also some MLAs who sought the help of Chief Minister Amarinder but got no response.

Navjot Singh Sidhu had a show of strength with the MLAs on Wednesday. They also visited the Golden Temple. A total of 48 MLAs, including 3 AAP MLAs, were with Sidhu during his visit to Amritsar. Some of those MLAs are on the radar of Punjab CID.

The CID team was present in plain clothes

A CID official present outside Navjot Singh Sidhu's house in plain clothes informed that his eye was on the MLAs gathered at Sidhu's house in Amritsar. Several serious allegations have been leveled against some MLAs and their associates who were with Sidhu. They have been directly and indirectly involved in these illegal activities. These include illegal mining and the liquor business.

It is learned that Captain Amarinder Singh also told the A3-member panel about these leaders which was formed by the Congress high command to alleviate the crisis of the Punjab Congress.
