Other parties have to have a free mind like us, we will decide keeping in view the situation: Priyanka

Lucknow: Assembly elections are going to be held in Uttar Pradesh next year. The Congress has also made preparations. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has hinted at a coalition in the Uttar Pradesh elections. "In the coming elections, we will take a decision keeping in view the situation," he said.

"We are not close-minded to defeat the BJP," Priyanka said. But it is too early to say. We will not do anything that will affect the interests and organization of the party. The Congress general secretary met in Lakhimpur with the women with whom the incident of tearing clothes during the block president's election took place.

Priyanka told the women not to bother at all, I am your sister and will always be with you. During the visit of about 10 minutes, Priyanka got information about the whole incident from both the victims.

Meanwhile, Priyanka said in view of the Uttar Pradesh elections, our aim is to defeat the BJP. Other political parties have to have a free mind like us. Asked whether the Congress would contest all the 403 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka said it was too early to say.
