In Delhi, the Arvind Kejriwal government has taken a big decision on private school fees arbitrarily. The government on Thursday ordered all private schools in the capital to reduce their fees by 15 per cent. This order will be applicable for last year's academic session i.e. 2020-21. The government has also said in the order that if schools charge more fees from parents, they will have to return the money or make adjustments next year. The Arvind Kejriwal government's decision in the wake of the Koro epidemic is a relief to parents. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said the 18 per cent reduction in fees would be a great relief to parents in Corona's time when they were facing financial hardship. The Delhi High Court had also ordered private schools to cut fees by 15 per cent.
