PM Modi's meeting with Shah, Nadda canceled

Amid discussions on expansion in the Union Cabinet, a meeting convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with senior party leaders on Tuesday evening has been canceled. Several senior Union ministers, including BJP president JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah, were invited to the meeting. The meeting was to be held at 5 p.m., with discussions on cabinet reshuffle and expansion. However, the meeting was later canceled. The meeting was to discuss the performance of the ministers so far and future plans as well as the framework presented by them. The meeting was to be attended by Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Dharmendra Pradhan, Prahlad Joshi, Piyush Goyal and Narendra Singh Tomar. Earlier on June 20, Prime Minister Modi also held a meeting with senior ministers. This time he discussed the functioning of the government from 2012 to 2021 and also took the feedback of the ministers.
