Another new mutation in the corona virus has caused scientists concern worldwide. New cases of corona have been found in the United States over the past few weeks, all of them with the Delta-3 variant of the virus, which not only has the highest spread potential compared to Delta but can also re-infect people who have been vaccinated or re-infected. .

No case of Delta-3 has been reported in India yet but the INSACOG committee monitoring genome sequencing has issued an alert. It is learned that in October 2020, the first double mutation was found in Maharashtra from which Delta and Kappa variants emerged. From the Delta variant, 2 more variants named Delta Plus and AY-2 were found but no more cases were found. Now another variant called Delta-3 has come up which has come up in most of the states of America. However, no case has been reported in India so far.

Monitoring continues in the country

IGIB scientist at New Delhi, Dr. Vinod Scaria said that after mutation in the virus, an AY3 variant has been found which has been named Delta-3. Serious monitoring has started in India. For the common man, the present is the time to be fully vigilant. It was already decided that mutations could occur in the virus as we have seen 230 mutations in India alone in the last 1.5 years.
