More than 817 deaths from 45,892 new cases of corona in the country

Active cases increased after a 55-day decline

So far 36.48 crore people have been vaccinated under the nationwide vaccination campaign

New Delhi: With 45,892 new cases of corona reported in the country today, the total number of corona cases in India has risen to 3,07,09,557 so far. The number of active cases has risen to 4,60,704, according to data released by the Union Health Ministry. The death toll from the Corona has risen to 4,05,028, with more than 817 people killed.

The National Covid recovery rate has also improved to 97.18 per cent. Corona had 18,93,800 tests in the last 24 hours. So far 42,52,25,897 tests of Corona have been conducted. The daily positive rate was recorded at 2.42 per cent.

The daily positive rate has been below 3% for 17 consecutive days. A total of 36.48 crore people have so far been vaccinated in the country under the nationwide vaccination campaign. In the last 24 hours, 817 people have died, including 326 in Maharashtra, 148 in Kerala and 75 in Karnataka.

Corona has killed 4,05,028 people in the country so far. Of these, 1,23,857 died in Maharashtra, 35,601 in Karnataka and 33,196 in Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, the number of active cases has risen again after 55 days and the central government has warned some states to be vigilant.
