In 24 hours, the death toll in Corona reached 4.13 lakh with 41 thousand new cases, 518 more deaths

New Delhi: There have been 41,157 new cases of corona virus in India in the last 24 hours. While the total number of cases has increased to 3.11 crore. On the other hand, the vaccination campaign has also been expedited. Earlier, India had overtaken the United States in terms of vaccination in a short period of time, while it has become the second country after China in terms of vaccination.

More than 400 million doses of corona vaccine have been given in India so far. At the same time, after China, India has reached the second position in terms of vaccinating the most people, while China is in the first position.

Apart from China and India, no other country has given such a large number of vaccines. In the last one day alone, more than 51 lakh doses of corona vaccine have been given in India. While 25 per cent of the total population in India has been vaccinated.

Corona, on the other hand, killed 518 people in the country, bringing the total death toll to 4.13 lakh. While the number of active cases has come down to 4.22 lakh which is 1.36 per cent of the total cases. At the national level, the recovery rate has risen to 97.13 per cent. There has been a decrease of 1365 in active cases in the last 24 hours.

The Center said that 41.99 crore doses of corona vaccine have been given to the states and union territories so far. Earlier, India broke the US record for the shortest time to vaccinate. In terms of numbers, India has surpassed all countries except China.
