Military plane crash death toll rises to 50 in Philippines

Manali: The death toll from a military plane crash in the Philippines has risen from 45 to 50 after five more bodies were found. Another 49 people were injured in the crash. The Philippine Air Force plane had 96 people on board, most of them Air Force personnel. The plane is believed to have crashed due to fire.

The plane was carrying troops from the southern city of Cagayan de Oro when it skidded off the runway and crashed. The plane crashed while trying to land on Jola Island in Sulu province. The plane caught fire while trying to land on Jolo Island in Sulu province.

After crashing to the ground, the plane turned into a fireball and the occupants of the plane crashed. Soldiers aboard the plane were heading to Sulu province to fight Muslim militants.
