Mild tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR on Monday evening. Preliminary investigations measured the quake's magnitude at 7.7 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was reported near Jhajjar in Haryana. The quake was felt at 10:36 p.m. The depth of the earthquake is 5 km. As shown, people on social media are asking if anyone has been shocked.

Earlier, on June 20, a mild tremor was also felt. Its magnitude was then measured at 2.1 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was reported below the Punjab Bagh in Delhi. At 12:02 a.m. that day, a mild tremor was felt. The epicenter was seven kilometers below the ground. However, due to the very mild tremor, its tremors were not felt by most people.

After several earthquakes hit the National Capital Region during April-August last year, the Seismological Center has deployed additional seismic recording devices to closely monitor seismic activity in and around Delhi.
