Before the Uttar Pradesh elections, Bahujan Samaj Party president Mayawati is all set to play a big game. Mayawati is once again engaged in recruiting Brahmins in the province. Mayawati is once again going to start a Brahmin convention and the responsibility has been given to Satish Chandra Mishra.

BSP's Brahmin Sammelan will start from July 23 at Ayodhya. From July 23, Satish Chandra Mishra will start an exercise to connect Brahmins with temple darshan in Ayodhya. In the first phase, Brahmin conventions will be held in 6 consecutive districts from July 23 to July 29. These conventions will be held district wise under the leadership of Satish Chandra Mishra.

The BSP's Brahmin Sammelan will be held in the wake of the 2007 election campaign. On Friday, more than 200 Brahmin leaders and activists from across the region arrived at the BSP office in Lucknow where the next course of action was discussed. The BSP is returning to the 2007 formula. Dalit Brahmin OBC will contest Mayawati 2022 with this formula. It may be mentioned that in 2007, Mayawati fielded a large number of Brahmins by giving them tickets. Mayawati's strategy was successful and the BSP became the absolute majority government.
