Petrol-diesel is more expensive in Pakistan than in India

Islamabad: In many cities in India, the price of a liter of petrol is Rs. Has been over 100. The same is true in Pakistan. After petrol, increase in flour, sugar and ghee prices has been allowed in Pakistan. As a result, inflation has increased in Pakistan.

The Utility Stores Corporation (USC) of Pakistan has approved the hike in prices of sugar, wheat, flour and ghee. The price of sugar at USC was Rs 68 per kg but has now been increased to Rs 85. While the price of ghee and butter has been increased from Rs 170 to Rs 260. Similarly, the price of wheat flour has been increased from Rs 850 per bag to Rs 950.

The gap between the subsidized prices offered by the Utility Stores Corporation and the current market prices has widened. Petrol price has been hiked by Rs 5.40 per liter. Similarly, the price of high speed diesel has also gone up by Rs 2.54. With this increase, the price of petrol in Pakistan is now Rs 118.09 and the price of diesel is Rs 116.5.
