Haripura village, one from Gujarat, another from Rajasthan and a unique story

New Delhi: A unique case was seen on microblogging site Twitter today. Farid Mamunjai, Afghanistan's ambassador to India, shared a story from his life. The man, who identified himself as a farmer, invited the Afghan ambassador to his village of Haripura. On this Farid asked that this village is Haripura village of Surat. On this, Prime Minister Modi tweeted that you should also go to that farmer's village and also to Surat's village.

Farid Mamunjai shared a case on Twitter saying that he had gone to a doctor for treatment a few days ago, but when the doctor found out that he was an Afghan ambassador, he refused to charge a fee. The doctor said I don't charge a fee from a brother.

On his tweet, a person calling himself a farmer, Balkorsinh Dhillon, tweeted that Sir, come to our Haripura village sometimes. On this Farid Mamunjai asked if it is Haripura village of Surat then the person said no it is a village of Hanuman Garh district of Rajasthan. The village is located on the border of Punjab. In this regard, the Afghan ambassador said that Afghanistan has a long history with Rajasthan and will go to Haripura as the situation returns to normal.

While the two were talking, Prime Minister Modi also got involved. He wrote that if you go to the village of Balkor Dhillon but also to the village of Haripura in Gujarat. It also has its own distinguished history. The population of Haripura village in Bardoli taluka of Surat district of Gujarat is around 1,200. According to the 2011 census, there are 303 families living in the village. The total population is 1,215. There are 21 males and 3 females. The literacy rate of this village is 7.5 percent.
