Get vaccinated if Nagaland government employees want pay

The Nagaland government on Saturday said that employees posted in civil secretariat and directorate offices would not be allowed to join duty and their salaries would be withheld if they did not get vaccinated against corona or issue a covid negative certificate every 15 days. The decision was taken by the High Power Committee on Corona on Friday in the interest of public health and safety, said Chief Secretary J.P. Alam said in an order. According to the order, all employees in the Nagaland Civil Secretariat and Directorate will have to be vaccinated to be present in the office or submit a negative report of Corona every 15 days through RT-PCR-Trunet or CBNAAT.
