For the second day in a row, there has been an increase in active cases in the country. A total of 21.3 new cases were reported and 203 deaths were reported. The number of active cases had crossed four lakh. On the other hand, in the last 3 hours, 4.5 patients were cured. The danger of the Delta variant was also found to be increased.
The total number of cases rose to 5,13,8,20 with 21,3 new cases being reported in Corona. According to a report by the Union Health Ministry, 203 new corona patients have died in the country in the last four hours. The total death toll rose to 4,13,9. For the second day in a row, the total number of Corona cases crossed 21,000. The next day, 4,013 cases were reported.
The danger of the Delta variant is constantly increasing. The report from Indian SARS-Cove-2 Genomes expressed concern that the Delta variant was expanding at a rate of 150 times. The proportion of delta variants is very high in the new Corona cases being reported.
As the Corona is re-emerging in 12 Indian states, a third wave is looming in these states. These states include Maharashtra, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Odisha and all the northeastern states. Delta virus is spreading rapidly in these states. Corona cases in these states increased by 12 per cent in a single week.
Meanwhile, 217 million people have been vaccinated in the country. Both doses have been completed for 25 million people. The rate of flower vaccination is 7.5 percent. At present, there are 2.50 crore doses of vaccine available in states, union territories and private hospitals, according to figures from the Union government's health ministry.
