Former Indian economic adviser Subramanian was also involved in the US study

If the claim of this American study is true, it will be considered as the biggest human bloodshed in India after independence

New Delhi: A US research group has claimed that many more people have been killed by corona than the number released by the Indian government. The report claims that 4.7 million people have died from corona in India. While the government claims that the death toll is only around 4 lakh.

A report by the US Study Group Center for Global Development claims that 10 times more people have been killed in India than the Corona death toll released by the government. The highest number of deaths claimed by Corona so far is reported by this US study group.

The study claims that most deaths in India were caused by corona in April and May. Since the launch of the Corona in India, 34 to 47 lakh people have died in India till June this year.

Researchers claim that the actual death toll could be in the millions. If these figures are true, it would be the biggest casualty in post-independence India. The study analyzed death figures from last year and this year.

The authors of the study include Subramaniam Swamy, India's former chief economic adviser. Earlier, millions of similar deaths were claimed by the French Research Institute for Development.
