The situation is not good in Kerala and Maharashtra due to the transmission of the corona virus, but even more worrying and dangerous is the fact that the corona is preparing to assume its own terrible form in the northeastern states. According to the Union Ministry of Health, Assam alone has three times as many active patients as Corona cases in the northern states. While Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Sikkim are witnessing a dramatic increase in the number of active coronavirus patients.
The Union Health Ministry has sought a review report from the north-eastern states as the number of patients is increasing and the number of active patients is not declining. According to the Union Ministry of Health, there are about 67,000 active patients infected with the corona virus in Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland and Sikkim, including West Bengal. The increase in the number of active coro patients in these states in the last few days is worrying, according to health ministry figures.
Figures from the Union Health Ministry show that more than five and a half thousand new patients have been registered in a single day in all the eight states of north-east India, including West Bengal. In these same states, 73 infected people have died in the last 24 hours. Dr NK Arora, a member of the Union Ministry of Health's National Kovid Task Force, which monitors Kovid-19 cases, said there was a need to be especially vigilant about the growing number of active patients.
