Congress Parliamentary Team Reorganized, G-7 Leaders Entered

New Delhi, Dt

Congress president Sonia Gandhi has restructured the party's parliamentary group ahead of the monsoon session of parliament. The reshuffle also includes G-7 leaders who lost key positions in the party in an explosive letter last year. Among the disgruntled G-7 Congress leaders, Shashi Tharoor and Manish Tiwari have been included in the seven-member group in the Lok Sabha. Bengal Congress president Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary will remain as the party's leader in the Lok Sabha. A section of party leaders had demanded that Chaudhary be replaced, but Sonia Gandhi has expressed confidence in Adhiranjan Chaudhary. Gaurav Gogoi, son of late Congress leader Tarun Gogoi, has been made the deputy leader. In the Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Khadge is the Leader of the House while another dissident Anand Sharma has been made the Deputy Leader.
