CBSE by Std. Issued new exam-result method for 10-12


Examinations will be held in two terms, syllabus will be reduced

The first term examination will be held in November-December 2021 while the second term examination will be held in March-April 2022.

Term-1 exam will be MCQ based, students will be given 90 minutes

New Delhi: Corona epidemic is also having a positive impact on education. A new system has been introduced for the upcoming board exams of Std 10 and 12, which were earlier canceled by the CBSE board due to lockdown. Which will also cover the results. Examinations will be held in two terms and CBSE will provide question papers and 50 per cent syllabus.

According to the new examination scheme issued by CBSE, question papers and marking scheme will be sent to schools by the board. Examinations will be conducted in two terms in total. The first term examination will be held in November-December 2021 while the second term examination will be held in March-April 2022. This information was given by CBSE Director Joseph Emmanuel.

The standard 10 and 12 syllabus has also been reduced. And now the total syllabus has been cut by 50 per cent. A special assessment scheme has also been announced. CBSE has announced to conduct Board Examinations of Secondary and Senior Secondary Standards for the academic session 2021-22 on the basis of reduced syllabus in two parts.

As per the announcement regarding Std. 10 CBSE Board Examination 2022, three periodic tests, portfolio and practical work / speaking-listening activity / project will be organized under Internal Assessment for Std. 9th and 10th. All of this will be in addition to Term-1 and Term-2, which will be held by the board during the year already fixed.

For 10th standard students, examinations will be conducted by the board during November-December 2021 within 4 to 8 weeks after the end of term-1. The CBSE Board 10th Deadsheet for the program of subject wise examinations will be issued after 2021-22. While term-2 examinations will be held in March-April 2022.

Like standard 10, a new examination scheme has also been announced for standard 12. Internal assessment for standard 11 and 12 will include topic or unit test, exploratory activity, practical and project work. Which will run throughout the semester and will be in addition to Term-1 and Term-2 which will be held during the pre-determined year.

Term-1 examinations for standard 12 students will be held within four to eight weeks between November and December 2021. The CBSE Board will issue the 12th Dead Sheet 2021-22 later for these examinations. After which term-2 examinations will be held in March-April 2022. Also Term 1 exam will be MCQ based, and its duration will be 90 minutes. While only questions will be from Term-1 syllabus (i.e. 50%).
