Case against Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in Bombay High Court for recovery of Rs 100 crore ransom

MUMBAI: As the ED has tightened its grip on Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, its Deputy Chief Minister is also in trouble. A case has been filed in the Bombay High Court against Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar for recovering a ransom of Rs 100 crore. A case has been registered not only against Ajit Pawar but also against Transport Minister Anil Parab.

The case has been filed by a Mumbai-based lawyer. The petitioner requested the High Court to hand over the investigation of the case to the CBI. The High Court is hearing the case.
