5.3 magnitude earthquake shakes Bikaner from Rajasthan to Ladakh


- Fortunately no incident of loss of life or property has been reported

Today i.e. Wednesday earthquakes were felt in 3 places in the country. The epicenter was reported below the epicenter in Meghalaya, followed by Leh Ladakh a few hours later and then Bikaner in Rajasthan.

Trembling in Meghalaya

The first tremors were felt in the western Garo Hills region of Meghalaya. Its intensity was recorded as 4.1 on the Richter scale. The quake was felt at about 2:10 p.m. It has also been confirmed by the National Center for Seismology. Fortunately, no casualties or damage were reported from the quake.

Earthquake in Leh-Ladakh

The quake was felt at Leh Ladakh at 4:57 a.m. Wednesday. Its intensity was recorded at 3.6 on the Richter scale.

Earthquake in Bikaner

The quake was felt at 5:24 a.m. on Wednesday in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Its intensity was recorded as 5.3 on the Richter scale. However, no loss of life or property has been reported which is a good thing.
