Two actresses working in Crime Patrol, Sawdhan India arrested in theft case

Mumbai: Two actresses starring in Crime Patrol, Sawdhan India, web series have been arrested on charges of theft. He stole Rs 3.5 lakh from a woman after a friend stayed in Goregaon as a paying guest. The two did not get a job in the lockdown and their financial situation was not good. They didn’t even have the money to pay the room rent. So both the actresses are said to have stolen.

Police have arrested actress Surabhi Srivastava (age 25) and Mosina Sheikh (age 19) and seized Rs 50,000. The court ordered him to remain in police custody until June 23.

A friend from Aarey Colony came to stay there as a paying guest of Surabhi and Mosina. He was accompanied by another woman. He stole Rs 3 lakh 28 thousand from the locker. Police launched an investigation based on the woman's complaint. Both were captured on CCTV as they walked out of society after the theft. Police have arrested both and are conducting further investigations.
