The World Bank has slashed India's GDP estimate from 11.5 per cent to 7.5 per cent

According to the World Bank, India's GDP will be 7.8 per cent in 2021 and 7.5 per cent in 203. A recent report by the World Bank states that India's economic growth estimates have been slashed due to the second wave of Corona. Earlier, the World Bank had projected that India's GDP would be 11.5 per cent in 2021.

A recent report by the Washington-based World Bank's Global Economic Prospects states that the second wave of Corona has adversely affected India's economic growth.

The World Bank has slashed India's GDP estimates by 7.5 per cent from its previous estimate. According to the report, India's service sector has suffered the most due to the second wave of Corona.

India's GDP is projected to be lower than China's. According to a recent report by the World Bank, China's GDP is projected to grow by 7.5 per cent in 2021.
