- The decision to leave TMC was emotional, I want to come back: Leader apologizes to Mamata

Kolkata: Mamata Banerjee re-formed the government in West Bengal, with all the leaders now leaving Mamata and joining the BJP. Some of those leaders now want to return to the TMC.

Even before the Assembly elections, about 20 leaders left the TMC and joined the BJP. However, with the victory of the TMC, these leaders are now ready to change their minds and are preparing to return home.

Former TMC MLA Deependu Biswas wrote a letter to Mamata apologizing. He joined the BJP as he did not get a TMC ticket. "The decision to leave the TMC was emotional and very wrong and I want to rejoin the TMC," Biswas said in his letter. Other leaders who joined the BJP and now want to return to the TMC include TMC MLA Sonali Guha.
