Sensex 53057 historical high among volatility

The Sensex gained 14 points to close at 52588

AHMEDABAD: The Sensex rose intra-day to a new all-time high of 53057 in early trade today on the back of various favorable factors.

The Sensex jumped 482 points intraday to an all-time high of 53057.11 on fresh gains after the transition in the country slowed down and economic activity boomed in the unlocked phase.

However, players and operators showed a cautious attitude and all the improvements recorded in the initial phase were erased due to the high selling profit.

And the Sensex fell 14.25 points to close at 52588.71 at the end of trading after falling intraday to 52520.55 negative zone. The Nifty at NSE also rose 26.25 points to close at 15772.75 at the end of volatility. Foreign investors today raised Rs. 1027 crore was sold.
