Pfizer Vaccine: Pfizer vaccine will be given to children aged 12-15 in Britain

London, 4 June 2021 Friday

The British government on Friday approved a 12-to-15-year-old Pfizer vaccine to protect children from coronavirus infection.

Britain's Drug Regulatory Authority has approved the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine for children aged 12 to 15 after review. The Pfizer vaccine is already approved for use by people 16 years of age or older.

Even in the European Union (EU) and the United States (US) the vaccine has not been shown to have any serious side effects on children. The vaccine has been thoroughly reviewed, said Dr. A.S. The safety of the vaccine in children aged 12-15 has been carefully monitored, said June Ren. It was later found that the Pfizer-Bioentech vaccine is safer and more effective in children aged 12 to 15 years. As well as the benefits of the vaccine outweigh its risks.

Pfizer - Bioentech conducted a trial on 2260 children between the ages of 12 and 15 in March. The European Medical Association and Britain's Drug Regulatory Authority have reviewed the trial data. So far, many countries have allowed their children to be vaccinated. People over the age of 12 are allowed to be vaccinated after the United States, Germany, Canada, Japan and Spain.
