Pak., Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka Controversy over India

Indore, Dt

A controversy has erupted over a map in Madhya Pradesh's Indore district. A map has been made public in the Footy Kodhi area of Indore district. The map shows Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka as part of India. Congress has protested on this map.

The municipality of Indore has put this map here. Regarding this map, the Congress believes that this map will affect the country's foreign policy and create animosity between neighboring countries and India. Madhya Pradesh Congress spokesperson Amin-ul-Khan Suri said, "Given the way the municipality has drawn this map of 'Undivided India', we want to ask if there is a change in foreign policy, will there not be differences with the countries that are shown to be part of India?" ? The state Congress alleges that municipal officials posted the map to appease their RSS leaders.

The Congress region spokesperson said the government should clarify what it meant by putting up such a map. This map reflects the RSS's vision of a united India. This was Hedgewar's dream. In his view, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Myanmar, Bhutan, Nepal, Burma, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka should be shown as an integral part of India. Municipal officials have done so to please the RSS. Apart from this, it is also possible that if Narendra Modi has a big plan in this regard, he should present it to the country. In this regard, Additional Commissioner of Indore Municipal Corporation Sandeep Soni said that this map is approximately two years old. The footy kothi area is built on the theme of Vedic period. This map would have been fitted in view of that time.
