Baramulla: Jammu and Kashmir police have busted a module of narco-terror in Baramulla. Union Territory police arrested 12 people and seized 11 packets of heroin, weapons and cash from them. Also seized were 10 grenades, four pistols and a large quantity of ammunition. Cash of Rs 21 lakh has also been recovered.

Police said they also seized a truck, a Verna car, and a Scooty in the case. The possibility has been raised that a number of revelations could be made after the conspiracy erupts.

On Thursday, militants attacked a policeman outside his house in Srinagar's Idgah area. In which one policeman was martyred. An investigation was launched by deploying troops after the attack. A total of 9 kg of heroin worth about Rs 45 crore was seized in Baramulla.
