The monsoon is likely to arrive in Kerala from tomorrow, the Indian Meteorological Department said. It may be mentioned that this time the arrival of monsoon in Kerala will be two days later than the normal date.

Monsoon clouds have hovered over Kerala and wind power has also increased in the South Arabian Sea. Satellite images show clouds rising over the coast of Kerala and the surrounding southwestern Arabian Sea.

The IMDA further said that in the next three hours, there will be an increase in rain-related activities in Kerala. Due to which monsoon is likely to arrive in Kerala in the next 3 hours.

The arrival date of monsoon in Kerala is usually June 1. Earlier, the Indian Meteorological Department had predicted that the monsoon would arrive in Kerala on May 31. However the meteorological department said the date could be minus four days. However, on May 30, the Indian Meteorological Department said that the monsoon is not likely to arrive on May 31. The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast a normal monsoon in India this year.
