MH-60 Romeo helicopter equipped with missiles in Indian Navy will also face enemies

After a long wait of almost a decade, the Indian Navy will receive the first shipment of 3 MH-60 Romeo helicopters from the United States in July. These helicopters are equipped with multidimensional radars and will be able to attack enemies even at night. The helicopters are equipped with air-to-air Hellfire missiles, torpedoes and weapons capable of accurately targeting the enemy.

Romeo helicopters will also be able to operate cargo planes, warships and destroyers. It could also be deployed in hunting submarines in addition to sea relief and research missions.

Next month will get 3 helicopters

In fact, India and the United States signed an agreement with Lockheed Martin in 2020 to buy 25 such multi-role helicopters for Rs 16,000 crore. India and the US are working to finalize the purchase of 30 Predator drones. The drone will enhance the capabilities of the Indian security forces.

Indian pilot arrives in US for training

The first batch of Indian pilots has arrived in the US for training to operate these helicopters. Indians arriving in the US for training will first be trained in Pensacola, Florida. He will then be trained in San Diego, California.
