Black Friday in social media
New Delhi: The servers of social media platforms Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram went down, making it difficult for many users to post. Hours later all the platforms were operational again. Users in many parts of the world, including India, have been hit by the downfall, with social media platforms shutting down for about half an hour.
Users on Twitter complained to Facebook-Instagram that the day was a black fi-day for social media. However, half an hour later, when WhatsApp and Instagram were up and running, people breathed a sigh of relief.
