End of Netanyahu's rule in Israel Naphtali likely to become new PM

JERUSALEM: Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been in power in Israel for years, has finally lost his seat. Netanyahu is no longer the Prime Minister of Israel. This power has now been taken away from them by the opposition coalition and a new government has been formed. There are reports that Nefatali Bennett is now the new Prime Minister of Israel.

Elections were held in Israel in March, in which Netanyahu's Likud party failed to win a majority. Being the second largest party in the election, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin gave Netanyahu time to form a government and prove a majority by June 2. Despite all Netanyahu's efforts, his party did not survive.

Meanwhile, Netanyahu's opposition leader Yer Lapid has announced that there is a consensus among Israel's opposition parties to form a new government. The new coalition includes eight Israeli parties.

Lapid said that according to the agreement, the first leader of Yamina's party, Neftali Bennett, will become the Prime Minister of Israel. Two years later, Yer Lapid, the leader of the Yash Edit Party, will take over the post. A session of Parliament will be convened soon and a majority will be proved. After which Nefatali Bennett will be sworn in as the new Prime Minister of Israel.
