Discovery in the UK of a device that can detect corona by sniffing

The covid alarm will work depending on the odor coming from the body

Electronic devices can be placed in crowded and crowded places to find out if there is a virus.

LONDON: Scientists in the United Kingdom have discovered an electronic device that can detect corona from body odors in crowded places. This device will provide information about the odor profile of the human body i.e. body odor analyzed and whether there is a possibility of corona infection in that place.

People are now nicknamed the device Kovid Alarm. This electronic device has been developed in research conducted by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. The research was carried out jointly by Durham University and biotech company RoboScientific Company Limited, led by scientists from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

At the end of the study it was concluded that the covid transition has a different type of odor. VOC in the living body. (Volatile organic compounds), which determine and produce body odor. VOC is also called the fingerprint of human body odor.

Professor James Logan, head of the research and head of the Department of Disease Control at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, said various samples were tested in a number of devices developed by Robosyntific.

12 sensors have been placed in this electronic device and testing was carried out from the odors obtained from the spaces including the gloves. Further testing is still needed to test how effective this device is in the real world. If the experiment is successful, the device will be available at affordable prices and in large quantities.
