Covishield vaccine produces more antibodies than covacin: study

Samples were taken from 22 cities in 13 states

Claim based on blood samples from 515 health workers who have taken both doses of the vaccine

New Delhi: Corona Covishield and Covacin vaccines are currently being given in India. One study claims that the covyshield vaccine from both of these vaccines produces more antibodies than covexin.

This claim has been made in the Penn India study of healthcare workers who have taken both doses of the vaccine. This study is not currently published but was posted by MedRXIV. A total of 515 health workers were included in the study. In which 305 men and 210 women were involved. These health workers from 22 cities in 13 states of the country participated.

Based on the findings of this study, it has been claimed that covishield vaccine produced by serum produces more antibodies than covexin vaccine of Bharat Biotech. The more and better the antibody is in the body, the more it helps to protect against the corona. The study claims that the report is based on the blood samples of those who participated in the study.
