Bus blast kills 11 in Afghanistan


At least 11 people have been killed in a roadside bomb blast in northwestern Afghanistan. Including three children. The blast caused the bus to fall into a ravine, causing another large explosion.

A rescue operation is underway to find the bodies. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a minivan carrying passengers in the Badghis area of ​​northwestern Afghanistan. All 11 passengers on the bus were killed.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but government and local officials say it was carried out by Taliban militants. Bombs have been planted and landmines have been planted by the Taliban in most parts of Afghanistan to target defense forces.
