BJP leader's daughter brutalized, first raped, then blindfolded and hanged on tree

A heartbreaking incident has come up from Jharkhand. In Palamu district, some miscreants have brutally murdered the 16-year-old daughter of a local BJP leader. Sagira was first raped and later had her eyes removed. His body was eventually hung from a tree to present it as a suicide. Police have arrested an accused named Pradeep Kumar Singh in the case.

The incident is said to have taken place on June 7. The victim went out of the house at 10:00 a.m. that day and the non-returning family began searching for her on Monday. A missing report was then lodged at Panki police station and police were also involved in the investigation.

Police were trying to locate the victim when they found his body hanging from a tree in the Lalimati forest on Wednesday. The father of the deceased said that he has 4 daughters and a son and the killer has killed his eldest daughter.

Police investigating the case found a mobile phone at the scene which led to Pradeep's arrest. Police say the body appears to have been hung from a tree to give it the appearance of a suicide after the initial sighting.

However, the father of the deceased claimed that his daughter was the victim of a gang rape and later had her eyes gouged out. The funeral of the deceased was held at the village cemetery and the victim's father had cremated his daughter.
