Among the declining cases of corona in India, the highest number of deaths in a single day was 9,15

The second wave of corona epidemics in India is declining, with the number of daily corona cases dropping from one lakh to 3,08 for the third day in a row. The daily death toll rose to 9,12. The death toll from Corona infections in the country in the last six hours is the highest not only in India but also in the world, surpassing the one-day death toll in the United States and Brazil. The reason for the huge increase in the number of deaths in a single day is the improvement in the total death toll in Bihar. Amid controversy over the death toll in Bihar, the death toll from corona in private hospitals and at home has risen to a record one-day total in the country.

The health ministry said on Thursday that 4,08 new cases of corona were reported in the country on Thursday. With this, the total number of cases was 2.81 crore while the total death toll crossed 2.4 lakh with the death of 2.15 crore patients in a single day. The number of active cases also declined to 11.5 lakh, which was only four per cent of the total cases. Corona's recovery rate improved to 6.5 percent. In India, a total of 9,12 crore patients died on Thursday, more than a single day in the United States and Brazil. Earlier, on February 12, the death toll in the United States had risen to 7.5 in a single day, while in Brazil, it had risen to 2,811 on April 4.

The ministry added that the total number of corona cases in the country has come down by 4.5 in the last four hours. The daily positivity rate in the country has come down to 6.5 per cent while the positivity rate has been below 10 per cent for the last 15 days. In addition, the number of patients recovering from corona has been higher than the number of new cases of corona for the 7th day in a row. The total number of patients recovering from corona in the country has crossed 4.5 crore. So far, a total of 25 million doses of corona vaccine have been given in the country under the nationwide vaccination campaign.

Amid declining corona cases in the country, the sudden death toll from corona rose to 9,12 on Thursday. However, the reason for this massive surge in Corona's daily deaths was not Corona's serious condition, but the improvement in her death toll in Bihar. Amid allegations that the exact number of deaths from corona in Bihar was hidden, the Nitish government conducted an audit, which revealed irregularities in the death toll. The Bihar health department said the exact death toll has not been released so far. Earlier, it was 7.5, while the correct figure till June 9 is 4.5. As a result, there was a huge increase in the number of 8-hour deaths in the country.

Meanwhile, the central government on Thursday directed the states to seek approval before giving e-win data related to vaccine stock and storage temperature to anyone. The Center has directed to prevent misuse of this information obtained by various agencies for commercial purposes. The health ministry had to clarify after reports that the central government would not disclose the data of the Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network (E-WIN) system on vaccine stock and temperature information in public forums without prior approval to the states.
