A mock drill at a hospital in Agra claimed 22 lives

Agra: A second wave of corona epidemic at a hospital in Agra came in the wake of reports of 22 patient deaths due to oxygen mock drills in April. However, an investigation report by a team of doctors claimed that no evidence of death was found due to the mock drill.

Just last week, the Agra administration had ordered an inquiry into the whole matter. A special team of doctors was formed for the investigation. However, the investigation was handed down because an April video went viral on social media.

In this video, a doctor from the hospital was claiming that we had done a mock drill in the hospital due to lack of oxygen and withheld the oxygen being given to some patients for five minutes.

It was later claimed that the mock drill had resulted in the death of 22 patients without oxygen. Now the investigation report of this whole incident has been handed over to the district administration in which no such evidence was found.

However, the probe panel also claimed that 16 patients had died at the hospital named Paras in Agra between April 26 and 27. But the cause of death was not found to be lack of oxygen.
