6 killed, 14 injured in knife attack in China


BEIJING: A knife attack in eastern China has killed six people and injured 14, local officials said in a statement. This is the third attack on civilians by outraged people in the last two weeks.

In the city of Anchin in Anhui province, local officials said a 25-year-old unemployed youth in Huaining County got angry and attacked people. His family was facing many problems.

The municipal administration said the youth, frustrated by the family's troubles, got angry and attacked people. The injured were admitted to hospital, according to Hong Kong media.
