1.32 lakh new cases of corona in 24 hours, plus 3207 deaths


- A total of 2.83 crore cases of Corona, 2.61 crore were recovered

- Active cases fall below 18 lakh, second wave now stable, Center hopes to control the situation

- In the second wave, 594 doctors died from corona, 850 teachers died from corona in Madhya Pradesh and transition to six thousand

- Foreign vaccines that have been approved abroad will no longer need to be tested in India, the rules will be amended

New Delhi: The daily cases of corona virus are now down to 1.5 lakh. In the last three hours, 1.3 lakh new cases of corona were reported. At the same time, the total number of cases in Corona has crossed 4.5 crore and the positivity rate has come down to 7.5 per cent. In the last three hours, 203 people have died due to corona.

The corona has so far claimed the lives of 2.5 lakh people. For the second day in a row, the number of active cases has remained within 20 lakh and only around 15 lakh, which is 4.5 per cent of the total cases. The number of people recovering for the 20th day in a row is on the rise and so far 4.21 crore people have beaten the corona. On the other hand, the central government has said that the states still have 1.5 crore doses of corona vaccine available. The central government has now relaxed the rules for importing vaccines from abroad.

The Indian Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has withdrawn testing of foreign vaccines in India. Since these vaccines have already been tested abroad, testing in India will not be so much needed. Vaccines that have been approved by the US FDA, EMA, UK MHRA, PMDA Japan or the World Health Organization will not need approval in India. Doctors have also been killed in the first and second wave of Corona.

According to figures released by the central government, in the second wave of corona, 4 doctors have died due to corona. A total of nine doctors lost their lives in the first wave, while in the second wave, the figure has approached 200. In Madhya Pradesh, 40 teachers have died due to corona and more than 2000 teachers have been affected by corona. The central government, meanwhile, has claimed that Corona's second wave has crossed its dangerous surface and returned to stability. Corona has a positivity rate of less than five per cent in more than 50 districts of the country.
