Wrestler Sushil Kumar, who competed in the Olympics, was finally arrested in a murder case

Fugitive wrestler Sushil Kumar, who competed in the Olympics on behalf of India, has finally been arrested on charges of murder.

He is accused of killing another wrestler Sagar Dhankhad. Sushil Kumar was arrested from the Delhi border by a special cell of the Delhi Police. Police have also arrested Sushil Kumar's accomplice. Sushil has twice competed in the Olympics for India. He had been absconding for the past few days in the murder case and the police had also issued a lookout notice in his name and issued a non-bailable warrant. Sushil Kumar had applied for anticipatory bail to avoid arrest. Which was rejected by the court.

After that, a team of Delhi Police went to Punjab in search of Sushil. The location of Sushil and his accomplice was traced by mobile. Police also announced a bounty of Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 on his accomplice Ajay for his arrest.

Sushil is accused of abducting wrestler Sagar Dhankhad and three others along with his accomplices on May 4. Sushil and his accomplices beat Sagar and his accomplices at Chhatrasal Stadium in which Sagar was killed.

Police say a fight broke out between two groups of wrestlers at the stadium. Marnar Sagar's father is a constable in Delhi Police. At the same time, it is said that there was a clash between the two groups to vacate a flat in Delhi. Sushil was absconding after Sagar's death.

He was meanwhile spotted at an ashram in Hardwar, a Tolan Naka in Meerut. He was also said to be on the verge of fleeing Nepal.

Marnar Sagar was a disciple of Sushil and had learned earlier from him, he also won a number of medals.
