Wrestler Sushil Kumar, accused of murder, has now been suspended from his job by the Railways

Wrestler Sushil Kumar, who competed in the Olympics, has been suspended from his job by the railways after being arrested in a murder case.

According to a newspaper report, preparations for his suspension began with the arrest of Sushil Kumar. His suspension was announced by the railways on Tuesday. He was fired shortly after his arrest. Sushil Kumar, who is on deputation in the Delhi government, was appointed as an officer on special duty to promote sports in schools at Chhatrasal Stadium.

On Sunday, the Railway Board received a report on Sushil Kumar, Railways said. It also mentions that a complaint has been lodged against Sushil Kumar. The Delhi government has also rejected Sushil Kumar's application to increase his deputation. Sushil Kumar has been a railway officer since 2015 and also a deputation to the Delhi government.

He is accused of killing another wrestler Sagar Dhankhad. Sushil Kumar was arrested from the Delhi border by a special cell of the Delhi Police. Police have also arrested Sushil Kumar's accomplice. Sushil has twice competed in the Olympics for India. He had been absconding for the past few days in the murder case and the police had also issued a lookout notice in his name and issued a non-bailable warrant. Sushil Kumar had applied for anticipatory bail to avoid arrest. Which was rejected by the court.

After that, a team of Delhi Police went to Punjab in search of Sushil. The location of Sushil and his accomplice was traced by mobile. Police also announced a bounty of Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 on his accomplice Ajay for his arrest.

Sushil is accused of abducting wrestler Sagar Dhankhad and three others along with his accomplices on May 4. Sushil and his accomplices beat Sagar and his accomplices at Chhatrasal Stadium in which Sagar was killed.
