Wipro's Azim Premji tops list of highest donors in the country

Amidst the atmosphere of despair that has spread across the country, the statistics of how much the country's millionaires and businessmen have donated have also come to light.

According to Hurun India, the country's 90 largest philanthropists have donated a total of Rs 9,324 crore in 2020. The number of donors in this list of philanthropists has doubled in two years to more than Rs 10 crore. Is. Flipkart co-founder Binny Basanl is a 40-year-old donor who has been added to the list.

Azim Premji is the largest donor in India. He has donated Rs 7904 crore, most of which has been spent on education. HCL's Shiv Nadar is the second largest donor with Rs 795 crore on philanthropic work. They are number three.
